"I just want you to know how useful I found your class and how wonderful you are as a teacher. I literally was crying in the summer before I took stats because I was so afraid and worried. I considered taking a pass/fail because I felt like there was no way I was going to pass or do well.  I've always considered myself as 'bad at math' and after a lifetime of avoiding it--the thought that I had to take stats made me really nervous and unsure of myself....you provided the information in such a clear and concise way and were really patient with us--and that was really important. Thank you so much! I won't say that I am so good that I am going to continue to study stats, but I feel confident that I can keep up in a statistical discussion and that makes the difference."
